Terms of Service — Parcel Pulse

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the Parcel Pulse Shopify app ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

2. The service

Parcel Pulse runs two deterministic, rule-based checks on your own unshipped orders — duplicate-order detection (the same phone across two orders within a configurable time window) and shipping address validation (missing street number, malformed postal code, invalid phone) — plus an optional merchant-managed phone/email blocklist. It produces a queue of flagged orders for your team to review before a label prints. On your explicit action, it can cancel a confirmed duplicate order (cash-on-delivery-safe, restocked, shopper not notified). The app uses no AI and sends no customer data to third parties.

3. No guarantee of results

Parcel Pulse is a decision-support tool, not an outcome. Every flag is a heads-up for you to confirm — you decide whether to ship, cancel, or contact the customer. We do not guarantee that using the app will prevent any refused delivery, eliminate duplicate shipments, reduce returns, guarantee delivery, or produce any particular cost saving or financial result. The checks are rules applied to the data present on your orders and may produce false positives or miss cases. You remain solely responsible for all shipping, cancellation, and fulfilment decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API. Current plans:

Prices are in USD and recurring every 30 days. Charges are handled by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Uninstalling the app cancels the recurring charge going forward. Shopify's billing terms apply to refunds and proration.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of any flag, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will identify every risky order.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, refused deliveries, or shipping costs, arising from your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid to us for the app in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination & changes

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin; on uninstall we mark your store uninstalled and remove its derived flags. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. We may update the app and these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
